Systems Commissioning

System Commissioning is perhaps the most important step in the procurement cycle between customer and vendor. The system commissioning precedes the final delivery of the system from vendor to customer.

Benefits

The benefit to the customer, or end user, is the receipt of a properly commissioned project. A properly commissioned project will have a high level of communication between the vendor(s), sub-contractors, customer and supplier. This level of involvement at the commissioning stage will ensure project success. All parties will understand the goals; ensure full comprehensive understanding of the system operation thus ensuring maximum value has been delivered to the user.

"What's included"

The Customer will benefit by engaging the expertise of Vislink trained personnel to perform field test measurements to validate the operation of the deployed system.

The Development of a commissioning plan will be a discussion between the lead systems and logistics engineers and the customer to exactly define the system expectations, set a schedule, engage and commit all team members.

The commissioning plan will be collaboration between the lead systems engineer and commissioning engineer. A plan is developed, assets defined and resources are detailed.

The field team will review the commissioning plan, as designed, prior to their deployment. The field team will form a communications channel between the customer and supplier.

Communications between all team members will be established by the commissioning engineer.

The effort will be supported by providing the test equipment and knowledge necessary to leave the customer with the assurance that each component has been thoroughly tested and verified.

Overview

Validation of the interoperability with the current communications infrastructure is one facet of implementation that often requires a high degree of interaction between the new equipment supplier and the resident IT or communications engineer.

Collaboration between the commissioning engineer and customer's communication professional will assure that data, video, voice and optical interfaces are compatible and there is a seamless integration between all system components.

Vislink personnel will work with third party and sub-contractors as required facilitate in-field performance evaluation.

The goal is to provide a complete system; operational to the maximum design level.
