Vislink on Site Support Services provides both Reactive (Emergency Support) Services and Proactive (Preventative Maintenance) Services. When paired they minimise the possibility of equipment failure by routine servicing, cleaning and system optimisation and ensure that if a piece of equipment should fail Vislink takes responsibility for the full repair within an agreed maximum time scale.
During our Preventative Service, in addition to the standard maintenance, we also examine all consumable and possible failure parts of the system and report on their condition. Rectification can then be made avoiding a potentially costly & disruptive system failure.
All terms for our On Site support are available in our Service Agreement, available upon request.
Review with operator any current issues in functionality or operations
Examine any Carbon Fibre parts, Cases & Antenna Dish, Clean & report any remedial requirements
Check all system cables are free from damage
Check movement of all antenna axis’s and ensure limits are correctly set
Check and align mechanical drives and drive belts etc. Lubricate as required
Check feed arm alignment of transportable antenna
Check any internal wave guide for RF leaks
Check stability of uplink electronics and report
Generally clean and ensure good functionality of all RF equipment
Check antenna receive
Check tool bag is complete and tools functional
Report all before & after test results
Test system on Satellite or into free space
Diagnostic menu on electronics reviewed
